Bill gates says about life that “if a person born in a poor family then that is not his mistake but if he dies in a poor family then it is his mistake”.
It’s my one of the observation about most of the poor people that they believe in destiny very much. When I tried to find out the reason behind it then I came across few fundamental points which are:-
1. They don’t have sufficient resources (Money) to contemplate on improving there status quo as they are not able to fulfill there basic needs (Suggested in Maslow,s Need theory i.e. Food, shelter, and clothes).
2. Religiousness is another issue I observed by which people are inspired that “Be satisfied with what you have” theory.
3. They don’t get the chance to expose themselves in spite of having “animal spirit”.
There may be other issues also which are preventing them to think about changing their status quo.
Coming to the issue from where I started; if somebody (We) takes initiative to do something in this area to realize them their potential by giving knowledge or providing them a platform to show there ability then definitely there will be a “Meaning of existence” seems to be carved on the canvas of reality. And he would be probably called as second Mohammad Yunus.
waiting for your response...
“Be satisfied with what you have”...This lines are soul of successful life of millions of people all over the world.
ReplyDeleteBecause if a person is not satisfied from his life and he only thinks about becoming successful, then he will not enjoy his basic life.
Some people are in world who thinks only about success, success & success...
Some of them become Dhirubhai Ambani & some become Raj Thakre..........

ReplyDeleteDear Deepesh,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment.
"Be satisfied with what you have"... by this line I wanted to say that people started taking liberty of religion and under the umbrella of religion they don’t perform the basic task of creative destruction. This feeling actually prevent them to work more, and realizing their full potential. Whenever somebody ask them to do something more they says "jyada lalach (greed) kar ke kya karna, Dal roti to mil rahi he na"
Hi dear,
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with your points in totality but they have huge valence regarding your objective "Meaning of existence".
Its being rightly said that "Where there is a will there is a way". Many souls have proved their worth just by their self belief on their aim and action, thrashing gargantuan obstacles coming in their way.
"Grameen" concept did prove your 1st point to an extent but its more about the structuring and presentation of the concept amongst the rural folk to work hard.....(Definitely the opportunity was provided).
